General Counsel
Charles Paterson serves as General Counsel for Envolve, overseeing all legal affairs and providing executive-level guidance on corporate governance, compliance, risk management, and business strategy. He supports leadership across the organization in navigating complex regulatory requirements and ensures that Envolve’s operations remain aligned with evolving legal standards.
Before joining Envolve in 2017, Charles was a partner at Balch & Bingham LLP, where he represented clients in civil litigation and commercial transactions across industries such as securities, corporate finance, construction, insurance, and environmental services. He also served as General Counsel for KinderCare Learning Centers, Inc. and The Enstar Group, Inc., accumulating deep experience in corporate legal operations.
Charles has served on the American Arbitration Association’s Panel of Neutrals since 1995 and has participated extensively in arbitration as both an advocate and arbitrator. charles.paterson@envolvellc.com
